Hey peeps so I just wanted to come on here and share the pain in the behind process that I just went through. So I recently preordered the IPad Peo 12.9 and decided to return it to Verizon and purchased through Apple instead to get the $200 rebate. I returned it via UPS and thought that was the end of it. Well my bill came out about 2 weeks ago and I was shocked to see it was $1595. Lmao. I was charged for the tablet and fees associated with that line.

I called last week and they confirmed it had been shipped and delivered to the warehouse but no one had checked it in. I was told to wait a week while they send the warehouse a ticket to correct the issue. A week passes and of course Its still on my bill.

So yesterday I called and the first rep tells me he has to put in another ticket as it was denied because they couldn’t locate it. I let him know that I’ve already waited long enough and need my refund issued. He actually tells me that they have to locate the box to make sure the iPad is in it. So I tell him that at this point it very well may not be in the box as this has all been mishandled and anything could have happened to it. I then politely ask to speak to a supervisor.

Eventually I was given my credit and now my bill sits at $78. Moral of the story, think before you buy and return to Verizon. Lol.

At least the refunded you. Had an similar issue with T-Mobile with a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 back in the day and took them 4 months to find the device and refused to refund me 4 months of phone service and phone payments while I didn’t use the service or phone since I didn’t have a phone to use it and was already on Verizon.

The best way to return anything to a carrier is to take it to one of their stores and obtain a receipt. Both Verizon and T-Mobile have stores in most cities. Or, if you must use UPS, drop it off at one of their pickup stores and get a receipt.

Definitely the ONLY way to do it. Counting on too many hands in a time where so many people are off their game too many times leads to too many problems.
