I am using a verizon iphone 6 with AT&T sim. I was using the same sim in my 4s and i used scissor to cut it as a nano sim. Almost everything works except for the following

1) Visual voice mail do not work. It wont even show if i have a new voice mail. the screen is just blank saying "No Voicemail". I can call VM after pressing and holding "1". I tried most of the suggestion i read including resetting the network, checking carrier update etc...but nothing works.
2) LTE and 4G dont work. I have to use unlockit.nz to install an APN to get 4G. Even after install profile (LTE profile) i dont get LTE. So i have to switch to generic AT&T profile to get it work. I havent tried to get a new SIM card from AT&T which i am going to try today. But if anyone have any suggestions i can try that.

If anyone can help that will be really appreciated.

Not sure about visual voicemail (if that might require something extra/different), but 4G and LTE should just work without anything else being needed (assuming you actually have a Verizon iPhone 6 that is factory unlocked by default).

Worked fine for years when I had a verizon iphone 5 on my AT&T plan.
Call AT&T and make sure you have a compatible LTE iphone data plan.
Without that you will not get any LTE or visual voicemail or any iphone features.
They need to switch you current data plan to an LTE iphone data plan.
Your old iphone 4S is not an LTE device and its on the old 3G iphone data plan that's why.
