Verizon Message+ and Monterey

Are there any Verizon Message+ users on Monterey that still have working Message+? I upgraded this morning and Message+ instantly crashes now. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and it makes no difference. I use Message+ all the time on my mac and if I'd known that it would die like this, I'd have never upgraded.

The same happens with me.

I found the answer is to take away rights that the app has to Contacts. Once that's done, it starts working again. At least for me it did.

The iMac app or the app on my phone? I don't have access to the app on my iMac because it doesn't stay open.

On my Macbook. As soon as I removed rights of the app to contacts, it started working again. I didn't find the fix. It's something that I saw on the Verizon forums.
