My dad and I purchased two iPhone Xs from Verizon (web) via separate transactions; two different order numbers. We were both charged and received tracking numbers for 11/03 deliveries. However, the tracking numbers are the same. This leads me to believe the iPhones are in the same box.
Here's the twist: I called in to the CORS department to change the delivery address of my iPhone, as I live in FL and my dad lives in NC (where the billing address is). They changed the shipping address with no problem, assured me that they were shipped in two different packages, and seemed to brush off the same tracking number question. Yet, the tracking numbers are still the same. Now, I do see a shipment in the Fedex Delivery Manager for my address in FL (which is, again, the same tracking number), but I am doubting whether or not the iPhones are in separate packages. How could they be if the tracking numbers are the same?
Does anyone have any experience or insight into this to help me understand what to expect?
