Why does the Verizon Galaxy Note II have to have that ugly Verizon branding on the home button.. It's extremely distracting and annoying. It already says Verizon on the back. I've considered getting it but I'd prefer that not be there. Think it can be scraped off easy without damaging the home button?

So many people have already taken issue with exactly what you're talking about, you can pick up a small sticker like cover for the home button. I haven't actually seen any as the Note 2 hasn't been released on Verizon as of today but they'll be available soon enough.

Yeah, Verizon branding the home button is just ridiculous. As if their logo on the back with the "4GLTE" wasn't big enough.

I hate carrier branding on the front of a device. Ruins the aesthetics of the phone. Samsung had a good thing going with the S3 and the Note II and Verizon screws it up.

I know it ultimately isn't that big of a deal, but I agree I'm loathing the fact that they branded the home button. It's a small thing (sort of) but just the act and principle of it is disgusting.

Verizon is disgusting.

Indeed. I'm just OCD about things like that. I'll probably just stick with my iPhone 5.

Yeah it's a bummer, but considering that Verizon even brought the Note2 into their line up is just awesome! I'm so glad that they have an alternative to their DROID (ughh) line. What ticks me off is that the DNA was announced just last week and it's going to be released before the note! Now that is ridiculous.

I was shocked when I first saw the hideous branding on the home button AS WELL AS the back. It's complete overkill, and cheapens the look of the face of the device in my opinion.

The great thing about most Android phones is you can just buy an OEM cover and drop the branding on the back. I've since replaced my back cover with a same color pebble blue back cover that only says Galaxy S3... but damn this button branding business is ridiculous. I wouldn't buy the phone on that principle alone as replacing the button would be involved and wreck the limited warranty.

I honestly wish people would just ditch Verizon completely.
