So this is an interesting piece of info regarding Verizon's NumberShare. I would assume it is similar across carriers. Evidently, you're allowed to share your number with up to 5 devices. I wonder if this would allow you to attach multiple S3+LTE watches. For those who want multiple S3's and don't mind the added monthly fee for each, in theory it is possible.
What is NumberShare?
NumberShare is a service that lets you use your mobile number on up to 5 connected devices. Send and receive calls and messages on whatever device is at hand, even if you're away from your phone.
Your smartphone's mobile number is the "host" and shares your number with your authorized "extension" devices. Although each extension device has its own mobile number, NumberShare lets you share your smartphone's number with all extensions. Both numbers work on your extension devices and will appear on your Verizon Wireless bill.
Now you can talk and text, get emails and notifications* using the new Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch on the Verizon Wireless network.
* Not all features available with all host devices. For use with Android® and iOS smartphones only.
