Alright.. did some searching and am either too dense to find it, or something.. but, here goes:

I've got a friend who works with Verizon, so I can get a killer deal on amy iPhone 6+ from her.. my question is; is using this phone on sprint possible? I can't find any answer directly online.. and the other answers are all either 2-3 years old, or not trustworthy.

Both Verizon and Sprint use CDMA and as far as I'm aware, the Verizon phone should be unlocked, so yes, you can use a Verizon phone on the Sprint network. I believe you can also use an unlocked Verizon phone with AT&T and T-Mobile.

CDMA doesn't so much matter anymore, other than voice.

LTE is what needs to be considered and Verizon's LTE bands are different than Sprint's.

Looks like you will be able to get Band 25 and 26 but not Band 41, which is Sprint's 2.5Ghz channel.

Verizon LTE Bands for the 6+: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, and 29
Sprint LTE Bands for the 6+: FDD-LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29 and TD-LTE bands 38, 39, 40, 41

You won't have any problem with voice because both models use the same CDMA radios, but you won't be able to take advantage of any carrier aggregation that involves channel 41.
