Verizon to ATT Port iPhone Activation Issues

Has anyone successfully ported a Verizon number to ATT on the iPhone? Have you gotten the "Your activation requires additional time to complete" we will email you message from itunes? How long did it take you to ACTUALLY get this email? How long before your phone was functional and up and runnig? Just curious as I am currently waiting for the email and want to gain some perspective from those of you who have been successful.
