iPhone verizon unlocked phone on straight talk trouble no cellular data menu

hey guy got a new iPhone 6 plus unlocked Verizon phone that has been working great so far other than no mms. i am on ios 8.3 so no jailbreak and i was under the impression that my phone since its unlocked would have the cellular data menu so i can mess with my apn setting. i am also having trouble updating any carrier hack through iTunes. any help would be appreciated thanks

i had t mobile ship me a sim, that opened up the apn settings button and I was able to make the adjustment.

So put in a T-Mobile sim adjust the apn setting then swap my straight card back in??

Pretty sure you can plug into itunes and it will ask if you want to carrier update with the straight talk sim in. Once you update, then everything should be fine. At least that is how it worked on my iphone 5

so when u powered off the phone and put in the mobile sim the APN settings were not available?

no i get the apn setting menu i type in the setting value but does not work. looks like i will have to wait for a jailbreak

Did you try to restore with straight talk sim in the phone, then after it boots for first time while still keeping phone plugged into computer, it should ask you if you want to update carrier settings. Click update, then it should work. This is what happened when I did it.
