everytime i download apps from my phone and sync my phone to my computer, all the apps stop functioning..when i try to open them after the sync, they open, and close right away..so then i deleted all of them from my phone and tried to download them on my computer and tried syncing it to see if all the apps would be transferred on the phone..and they do..but the same thing happens, when i try to open the app on my iphone, it just closes on me..basically the only way to download apps is through the iphone..and i cant connect my iphone to my computer if i want the apps to work..i turned off app syncing on itunes so hopefully it wont affect it now

any ideas as to whats causing it?

not syncing your apps will fix the problem, iv done that.

i guess there is a fix to this, i'll let someone else help you with that. Im just afraid to download all of my apps just to have them not work again!

Hello ViPa,

As you may or may not know, the 2.0 software from Apple is extremely unstable currently, and therefore these types of problems are bound to occur.

The good news is, there are ways around these problems.

Apple allow you to re-download any application you bought from the App Store, completely free.
This stands for applications downloaded which were 'free', or application you have had to shell out for, and are simply not working.

Once you have bought an application, your iTunes account remembers this,
so that when you click the 'buy' button again, in the store, you get an alert stating;

The iTunes Application Store said:
'You have already purchased this application. To download it again for free, select OK'.

Re-downloading and re-syncing any application which you are experiencing this problem with, should resolve your problem.

Also, a full restore of your device, should extinguish the intermittent crashing issue.

thank you for your responses..im going to re-download everything again, but its just annoying to have to enter in your username/password on the programs..i guess i could deal with that though

for anyone else who is having this problem, disabling app sync on itunes will work..it'll sync everything else and leave your apps alone
