I have read posts in this forum for hours but still find I need basic help!

I have an iPhone 3G which I connect to my iMac. I would like to use my 1st gen iPhone with my work sim which is on Vodafone. I propose connecting this to my MacBook Pro.

What I need is a very basic list of things to do in order. Such as (1) when in the process do I put the vodafone sim in the iphone (2) do I need to get itunes back from V8 to something earlier? (3) do I use Pwnagetool or QuickPwn?

Thanks

Peter (UK)

1) Before or after, doesn't matter.
I had my phone unlocked before I went to the UK and just popped in a SIM when I got there. Unlocked my co-worker's phone with the T-Mobile SIM already in once too.

2) Nope
You might get an error on trying to restore it once or twice, but it will work eventually.

3) Pwnagetool for more options
So you don't have to have the pineapple and other logos.
