I don't like how it shows the content of a SMS on the lock screen. I have preview turned off, but its still there. Isn't this what the notification center is supposed to do? I don't see how to change how the notification center works. Perhaps there is a tweak for this?

Well, I can only speak to Bulletin because of the three you list that is all I have. But I'm a bit confused on your question, so forgive me if I miss the obvious.

Your not wanting notifications from specific apps on the lockscreen? That's a simple matter of Settings>General>Notifications and unselecting the toggle that has them show on the lockscreen. You can still have them in the NC this way.

Am I missing or not understanding something?

I just want the name to appear on the locks screen when those tweaks are enabled. I'm thinking that its not possible since all those tweaks are doing is turning your lock screen into a notification center.

Currently there is no way to not have a preview of a text in the notification center.

Have you tried going into Settings>Notifications>Messages and toggling off Show Preview?
 
Do you use BiteSMS? One of its features is to hide all SMS previews for privacy reasons. That's how I have my iphone set up.

Does it also effect the notification center?

Like it will not show a preview in the notification center and only show the contacts name?

You're very welcome. Yea it is kinda surprising they don't have this. It's just one of the many reasons I love BiteSMS lol
