After I upgraded my MacBook Air mid 2011 model to Yosemite it takes a long time to shutdown. Normally it only takes 2-3 seconds now it's more than a minute, I can see spinning wheel keeps going. Is anyone seeing this?

I restarted 3 times already it takes like 2 min to shutdown. Ughhhh! It sucks on old MBA. None of the handoff features are working either.

I'm having the same issue. Having a 2008 Alu MB. Shutdown takes about 2.30 minutes to 3minutes. Tried disabling icloud but still the issue is same.

Update:

Problem solved: had to uninstall an old Version of Paralles.

Shutdown now in under 5 sec.
