Hello, just bought an iPhone SE yesterday and updated to the latest OS of 11.4.1. When I called it from my iPhone 6s+ for testing, the speaker on the iPhone SE was so low that it was difficult to hear what the caller was saying even the volume on the SE was turned to the max. Tried a few times. Same thing. However, the volume is loud when playing youtube video. Is the phone defective?

Assuming this was done on loudspeaker mode, the quality of the sound depends on the quality of the call. Does this happen on all calls?

In any case, since you just recently bought the unit, I'd suggest that you bring it back to the seller and ask for support. It does seem odd that volume is normal from other sources.

This is strange but after I rebooted the iPhone SE, everything is fixed. Thank you.
