any help here would be appreciated folks. I have an iPhone 8 and recently the volume during phone calls is extremely low. I have the volume at max but still have to push the phone into my ear to healer the call. I’ve tried scraping out the earpiece grill to no effect. Any ideas?

I’ve been having this with my Max as well, it’s been getting warmer than usual as well. Are you on the latest update?

It could be that the microphone is broken, as the same thing happened to my phone. I took it to an Apple Store and they ran diagnostics. It determined a microphone failure and they ended up fixing it.
