hi all,

recent new member to iphone family.

i bought a iphone 6 plus 128gb space gray with verizon service.

the phone is a joy to use, when it works properly.

very often the WiFi signals will drop, and stutter, while other times the Verizon data service is extremely slow, im talking about sub 1.0mbps speeds.

is there a chronic, wide spread issue with these devices?

are there any remedies for these issues?

must i return my iP6+ and get something else?

Have you tried doing a reset on the phone (hold home & power buttons at the same time till you see the Apple logo, then release)?

Have you tried reset your Network settings? (Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings)

You could also try to reset your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds then plugging it back in.

These would be the basic troubleshooting steps I would try first before anything else. Might clear up your issue. Should be no need to go back to Apple at this point.
