In Indesign CS6, its almost impossible to see the measurements and all the info in the tool tabs unless i squint or come close to the display. Im on Yosemite, working on the default resolution (2560x1440) of a mid2010 iMac. Here is a screenshot so you can see what im talking about. Do i have wrong settings or is it something wrong with this iMac model?
Can you please post similar screenshots of your InDesign interface, so i can see if there is a difference compared to your iMac configuration? Please, i would be obliged if you could help out and state your iMac config along with the screenshot. :)

I have a 27" 2015 iMac and I've never had a problem being able to read the tabs on any version of InDesign. Small yes, but they are fully readable. Screenshot below for ID CS6 (which I haven't used for years, but keep a copy).

Thanks Neil... :( Both versions are identical... damn it!
How can u see the text though, isn't it an issue for you at all?

Ahaaaaa Retina... maybe this makes a difference!
There hasn't been a 27" iMac that isn't retina in years. And quite frankly, even a non-retina at 2560x1440 should be more than readable.

That being said, there are a number of factors that can come into play. Distance from eyes to screen, your age, your vision, etc. Maybe you need glasses, or if you already wear them, maybe a new prescription?

Thank you doctor! :D
I say that only because in my case, it turned out that I needed reading glasses when using the computer. Magnification 1.25 worked perfectly. With those, I can use a retina iMac at full 5K resolution and still be able to read Adobe's tiny-as-fark interface. ;)
