Usually when I pick up my 2013 MBA in the morning it's stone cold from being asleep all night. I just picked it up and it's quite warm, as if it's running something processor intensive. It's cooled slightly since I started using it but it's still warm. The only things running are Mail and Safari. Checked Activity Monitor and nothing out of the ordinary. Anyone else notice their computer is warm this morning?

Mac mini (Mid 2011) Overheats

Yeah my mac overheats too after leaving it idle for awhile. I only had Safari and Mail too running when it happens. It's so weird! I run Yosemite on a second HDD partition. I really wish I could run it off my SSD but I have no room to make another partition (I have a measly 64GB SDD). On Mavericks my mac overheats a bit when Time Machine is running but other than that it's pretty cool and quite.

somewhere warm, dark, and cozy
I can confirm the same bug.

Soon after my MBA (mid 2011) goes idle and the screen goes to sleep, the fans start spinning non-stop until you use it again. Very annoying.

It worries me when my poor baby keeps working the whole night for nothing while I'm deep asleep.
