Hi,

I am mounting the VESA Mount adapter.
The flange is stuck in the iMac.

I pulled it out with wires, see images, but it doens't lock in place.
Does anyone have any suggestions? How does the flange lock?

When you originally take the foot of the iMac off you can use a thin card to get it to lock, I believe that there is some sort of catch. Take a look at this video and see if mixing the two techniques, the card and your cables, can get it to lock.

Failing that....yes, take it to Apple.

Does the Apple VESA mount include a secondary tool that actually grabs the mounting piece? kind of looks like a mini wrench.

anyway, try the access card to push it out and re-release it. otherwise apple can quickly pop it out and attache the mount for you.
