Every iTunes bought movie I tried to play via the VGA Adapter would not work on my Vizio that has HDCP (at least on its HDMI ports), kept getting the error saying the display was not authorized.

Decided to hook up my iPhones composite adapter and it worked great on the iPad. Obviously not the same clarity as VGA, but if you are intending to watch movies from the iPad onto a bigger display you may want to look for the composite or component dock adapters instead of the VGA adapter.

Now that bit is interesting. I think I might follow it!

I just hook mine up via a VGA cable to my Sharp 52" and quality looks great on 720p videos. Can't really complain. I only plan on using it to watch bought TV Shows from iTunes anyways.

Movies that you buy from iTunes are DRM protected, so they will only play on your device.

And people wonder why torrenting is so popular.

If I buy it, let me use it the way I want.

Yep, I need a separate license [of the music] to play a cd in the car to the one I have in iTunes
