Ok, lots of posts online about how limited the VGA adapter is. I didn't find out until I was getting ready to show some photo work to a room full of people that it was severely limited. (Thanks to a Google search while I was sweating it out as to why it didn't work.)
So, my question is...will there be a 3rd party accessory that will not have the limitation? IOW, is the limitation built into the iPad so that even a 3rd party hardware solution would still have the limitation? Or, can another product be a better solution?
Actually, I am not so disappointed in the fact that it is limited to photos as much as it limits 1) to ONLY slideshow. WTH!?!?! That was so frustrating. I want to be able to fly through the photos...pause on the ones I wanted, zoom in on the ones I wanted, etc. Slideshow as a way of dynamically showing the photos was a deal killer! 2) Videos that I had actually paid for that I wanted to watch on a big screen. NO GO!!! WTH!?!?!
So, point of this post is...should I return the VGA adapter I got? As it is, I will keep it for the VERY occasional usage that it will get as it's limited capacity will offer. On internet review of the adapter suggested that a software developed could write an app that would allow better use of the VGA adapter? Is that possible? Or will that be anti apple and will not be allowed?
