vibrating stoped working

hi the vibrating has stopped working on my 3g iphone. anyone else got this problem? what could be wrong?

Try a hard reset. (hold the home button and the on/off button until the Apple logo appears)

If that doesn't work you'll have to do a restore of the software using iTunes. You should be able to restore it from a backup and be fine.

i have tried all this still not working

Then did you go into settings, chose sounds and make sure Vibrate is set to on? Then move the silent/ringer switch and feel it vibrate? If that doesn't work, go to an Apple Store.

When I 1st got my 3G I didn't know you had to have a sound selected for the vibrate to work. That took me a few days

This happened to me once. The motor just burned out.

Restore it and take it to the genius bar and they will replace it if its under warranty.

Yeah this happened to my brothers and they replaced it.
