Hi- I checked the Elgato support site and even the EyeTV manual- couldnt find the answer so am hoping one of you could help out. I want to toss the TV in our office (trying to rearrange the room to fit our spin bike) and use the iMac as a TV. No problem here in understanding how to set it up to receive tv signals via eyetv HD, but we have a video phone (we are deaf) and the video phone uses Video 1 (TV is on Video 2)-- we switch between those to use the videophone and TV. Now, would the EyeTV HD box allow me to do this or am I outta luck?

Thanks :)

Your best bet is to pose your question at "eyetv lounge." It is a forum for eyetv owners and prospective buyers seeking tech advice. Elgato employees are on there all the time answering questions and will likely be able to assist you.

I'm not sure how to achieve what you're trying to do with Elgatos equipment, but that doesn't mean it can't be done...

Without knowing which kind of connections your video phone uses, I gotta think there's some type of switch you could use to turn the video phones signal into a USB capable input. This way, you could keep the video phone and the EyeTV separate. You could even use both at the same time.

If you give us more info, we may be able to help a bit more.
