Is there a video card made for the PowerMac G5 that has composite video and audio inputs that will allow me to run my Tivo box into my Mac and watch TV from my computer monitor? I assume if such a product exists, that it would also work for a game console like a playstation 2. Is there such a product?

You're just wanting to watch your Tivo or extact the shows for later viewing?
As mentioned, there are a variety of USB products that provide the inputs necessary. For extraction on a G5, I'm not aware of any simple way to convert the .tivo files to something viewable on the Mac. If you have a copy of Virtual PC running, there are programs that run on XP which strip the .tivo encoding enabling you to view later.

You could get a Miglia AlchemyTV DVR PCI card, but there are no all in one video cards for Macs anymore I'm afraid.
live tv only
I only care to watch live television - I have no interest in converting the files to any other format. I am simply trying to save space in my small apartment by eliminating my television. Do the USB options have rca component in for video and audio? or just video? Does it come with software so that I can toggle between television mode (USB video in mode) and regular computer mode?

Why not just get one of those monitors that also has TV-in? You'll still need your cable box for digital channels though. If you have basic cable, as long as the device you get has a tuner, you wouldn't need it though.
solution - I think
So I think I found the solution to my question - I bought the Elegato EyeTV Hybrid, which apparently has composite inputs for game consoles and digital cable. I will post again once I receive the product and see how it works. Thanks for all the responses.

here using a series 2 running straight through an elgato eyetv EZ. works like a charm...
