Welcome to several months ago. Knocking Live Video app has been in the app store for many many months doing this exact same thing. Audio, video, iphone 4 front and back cameras, over 3G, connect to android and vice versa, etc. Nothing new about this at all.

I was referring to Tango specifically. There still needs to be an app that uses the facetime protocol and also has desktop functionality. Here's hoping the news about Yahoo Messenger is accurate...

Wrong, Knocking Live Video is not the same thing. Knocking Live is one way with only video.

Tango is the closest thing to a full fledged facetime like app that is cross platform over 3G.
