video clips/ photoshop?

I have a weird problem... When I try to watch video clips on say for example netflix... photoshop always opens up and then tells me it cant read the file.. any idea how photoshop plays a part in clicking on a video preview? When I click the preview button it automatically downloads it to the desktop and instantly opens photoshop. I'm using internet explorer, because I couldn't get the videos to work at all with safari or firefox. I have os X.4.3
