I have a bunch of movies (DVD Rips) and some TV Shows that i want to watch on my iPad.
I am new to the video conversion stuff. I've heard Handbrake is a good software to go with!
So which is the best way to convert videos for it. Quality is the preference here, i don't mind the file size. Please Help!!!

That answer is a mile wide. Depends on what you are looking for. You have already ripped the movies thus bypassing the encryption? Then most software packages that do ripping allow you to save it to a specific format. However if this is not true, then I suggest Catalyst3 for ripping DVD's into a iPad format. They have a free version, as well as a paid verions for 9.95. The bigest differance between the free version and paid is the speed of the ripping/conversions. The paid also has a bunch of options that you can fool with. However you said you were new, so I would suggest Catalyst3 for iPad. www.tools4movies.com

I know Handbrake is good, but I don't know how to convert videos for iPad!!
Also I want to tag my movies with plot summary, cast, movie poster.....
What should I do?
Thanks in advance

Take people's advice: download handbrake and give it a go. Use the "Apple TV" preset, which seems to work for me. Import to iTunes by using "Add file to library" and then edit the metadata there. There may be ways to do this outside of iTunes, I don't know.
