hey guys,
i have a few video files (mainly .mwv) and i want to have them written on a dvd in video dvd format so when i insert it into dvd player it comes up with a menu and everything.

which program should i use???

Please pick a better video format. WMV sucks, really hard.
Quicktime Pro can convert WMV files to anything better and iDVD can help you make a DVD.

Please read the rules.
#11 Bumps. Posts that bring a thread to the top of the New Posts list but add no content to the thread (bumps) are not permitted. This applies not only to posts that say "bump" but to those with the intent to bump.

You'll need to buy Flip4Mac in order to convert them to something other than .wmv, then use MPEGStreamClip to convert them to .mov, the burn with iDVD.

thanks... but idvd takes ages to write a dvd. do you know any thing else which writes faster?

If you don't like iDVD (personally I don't mind waiting while it renders my menus as there's always something else to do when you have kids) then try Toast. Is it any quicker? Dunno.

Andrew.
