Hi,

I'm using an iPhone X on iOS 13.1.3 and noticed a bug when I'm editing a video: Whenever I enter edit mode I can't for the life of me move the beginning trim handle. I just can't grab it. I can only grab the end trim handle. When I move it and then exit edit mode and re-enter it I can move the beginning trim handle. So whenever I want to trim a video on both ends I have to enter edit mode two times which slowly gets annoying.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Have a nice week
Chris

Same. You basically have to grab the beginning handle just right– needs to be fixed.

In addition to this, have you or anyone else noticed how freaking slow it is to save the video after you edit it? Prior to this iOS I was able to trim a video as a new clip and it was almost immediately trimmed. Now it takes a minute or so...

For me the trimming issue has been fixed with 13.2.
I actually just did some research and it looks like the reason it takes a bit longer to trim is because it is non-destructive editing now. Running the latest iOS as well.

The bad thing about this non-destructive editing is that (I think) trimmed videos are taking up the same space on iCloud than the original videos because the original has to be saved to be able to go back. And I found no option to save a trimmed video as a new clip.

That has been an annoying issue in 13. (I haven't updated to 13.2 yet) Like Chris said, you have to grab that end just right. But I really REALLY do miss the "Save as new clip" feature.
