I am looking for a Video Editing software for MacBook pro, in which I can add text, take background music from some YouTube or other video and implement it in the original video.

I tried iMovie, but it has the limitation that of extracting song from Apple Music and no other way and in case that song is DRM protected, it will not work

You can add any music track to iMovie. Just drag and drop it onto the Project Timeline.

You can download the video from YouTube and add it to your timeline in iMovie.
