Hello,

I have a Mac Pro with two Vega II Duo since December. Since I installed 10.15.3 my monitor loses the signal about 2-3 times per hour. The screen turns black for few second and the signal comes back. So, it's a new issue... Am I the only one "suffering" from this ?

Best

Robin

I had the same symptoms while using a display port connection on my monitor - a DELL U3818DW. I had the option to use a USBC connection on the monitor and when I did the problem stopped.

Hello, I'm indeed with a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter. But my HP Dreamcolor hasn't USB-C input... Did this symptoms appear with 10.15.3 update ? ( I jumped directly from 10.15.1 so I don't know if this was also an issu with 10.15.2).

Open a bug report with Apple. This is a Vega20 DisplayPort bug that exists for a long time now. Happened to me on my Radeon VII a couple of times already. Mojave had this bug already.

Also, when I have one HDMI and one DP monitor connected and wake the machine from screen sleep, the monitors usually blink on and off for 10 to 30 seconds until I finally have a picture on both. Really annoying. Bug report open since June 2019, no response from Apple.

I have had this issue since I got my 2019 MacPro which I believe started with 15.1. 15.3 hasn't changed anything.

Ok. I didn’t notice this issue with 15.1 but only since 15.3.

I opened a ticket about it.
