I was wondering if there is any app out there that can organize and play Quicktime movies or other movies? Along the lines of iTunes and iPhoto, only for video. Is there sometime like this currently out?

If not (of if so), I hope Apple comes out with something like this. I have a lot of quicktime movies I've downloaded, and would love to be able to organize them. Have playlists for commercials, movie trailers, etc., and it could access the Quicktime site and notify you of new trailers. Maybe work with adcritic.com, much like iTunes works with audible.com.

If there was a video iPod, wouldn't you want an app like this? Seems to me it would be easy to play videos, show pictures, using an iPod scroll wheel, since they could be accessed much like music is now, with lists. Seems to me that with a future version of iPhoto, and a video app, you could sync with your iPod (or whatever the device might be).

RE:VIDEO/MOVIEPLAYER APP

Not quite sure what you are looking for, but you might want to try a program called CELLULO, with it you can make playlists of most video files. I occasionally use it to string together music video files and the like...on the plus side, I believe it is freeware, on the minus side, not necessarily the most stable(not bad though...). Sorry I don't remember the link...just do a google search or something...hope this helps, good luck.
