Hi Guys,

Hoping this is just something silly that I am not doing.

I got my 11" iPad Pro replaced via Apple Care (screen inexplicably cracked, not sure if the frame was stressed or what). I did a full restore on the new device from a successful iCloud backup that same day. Anyways, I have about 100GB of photos and videos backed up to my iCloud as well as the box checked to "download and keep originals", but none of them will download. The size of my photos app is 40 MB when it should be around 100 GB, and when I open LumaFusion (my video editing app) I cannot work on my projects because all the local content (the videos) are misssing.

When I moved from the 10.5" iPad to the 11" iPad, I did not have this issue, all my videos transferred perfectly from the cloud back onto the iPad. Now that I am going from 11" --> 11", everything transferred perfectly except my photos and videos. Any way to kick start this process? I was expecting to see the "download and keep originals" box unchecked, but it was. I let it sit overnight and nothing downloaded. Thoughts? Thanks!

You just need to keep the device plugged in and connected to WiFi. It will take some time but will eventually finish the job.

Hmm it wasn't plugged in I don't think, but since everything else downloaded from the cloud I assumed it was OK. It was 95% charged.

When I got my first 11" iPad, it defininitely was not plugged in and went from 100% --> 40% overnight and everything synced perfectly without being plugged in, so I expected that to happen again this time.

I'll plug it in for a few hours and see what happens just in case that was it. Thanks!
