Video Playback on still Freezing Mac mini M1 16GB (late 2020) for the past year or so.
I was running macOS Monterey until last week and did a clean install to Sonoma 14.2 thinking that would sort the problem and it did for 2 days but now it's back to the same problem!Again any video content local or online won't play in platform. YouTube, Vimeo, BBC news and even the Apple TV app, in fact anything with video content!
This happens at least once a day until I do a full system restart, which fixes the issue for maybe a few hours of use.
We also have a 2019 iMac and 2013 Mac book pro with the same apps installed and it never happens on the those systems!
I am a Safari user only - I don’t use Chrome as I was told in a previous post that this can cause a problem due to Chrome extensions - but it did still does this when I tried to run video content using a Chrome browser.
I am thinking my M1 mini Mac has a problem!
I have seen a few similar posts on this but no solutions.
