I'm having a problem with a video on my AppleTV.
Last night I made several attempts to stream it from my iTunes Library, but the AppleTV kept freezing and I had to force a restart.
I then transferred it to AppleTV altogether, but now it just plays with audio and no picture and when it reaches the the end or I try to go back to the menu it just freezes again and a restart is needed.
The video is not an iTunes purchase. I downloaded it from the Internet (there is no copyright or legal issues - my sister is the creator and owner of the film and I am doing this with her permission).
The video plays fine on my Mac and iPhone.
Plus another of my sister's videos I downloaded late last year in the same way plays just fine.
Anybody have any ideas why this happens to the AppleTV? What other details do I need to give?
