I recently enherited a mac mini from 2011

First thing I did was connect it to my H/K amp and got the sound working perfectly. Only thing I noticed was that there was this tiny tiny bit of overscan.

My guess was that the HK did this. I tested to connect it directly to my TV (that has this scan only function)

I'm not having this issue with my 2009 mini that uses Mini DVI to DVI and then a DVI to HDMI cable. Obviously i need to use sound via optical cable for this.

My 09' mac mini uses Snow Leoard, the 11' mac mini uses Mavericks
I tried using the overscan lever in Mavericks but the picture became very blurry.
