A couple days ago, I was able to put in a Video RAM DVD and the Mac Mini would automatically bring up a menu with the videos on the disc on the screen.
I was considering using iMovie to edit one of the videos on one of my Video RAM DVDs, so I opened iMovie and started to check it out. Watched the video, etc.
Next, I put one the Video RAM DVDs in to import a video I wanted to edit.
Now, instead of the menu of videos automatically appearing, I have to open the DVD which takes me to a VIDEO_TS directory.
In that directory are a bunch of files with the names, VIDEO_TS.BUP, VIDEO_TS.IFO, VTS_01_2.VOB and the like.
I've seen these types of directories and files before when using Handbrake.
I quit iMovie but still the strange directory and files come up, not the old menu.
Same if I restart the Mac.
Questions...
1) Did opening iMovie cause this change to happen
2) How do I get back into the mode where the DVD menu file comes back up like it did before
3) Do I now have to use Handbrake to get the videos off of the DVD
Thanks!
