Last time I looked, showtime didn't record sound and only gave you 5 secs of recording unless you paid.
This one allows 30 secs of recording sound and video freely and extends the video recording time for $19.95

right on...and why would you want a video recording without audio? I bought show time and don't even use it cause I didn't realize that it didn't have audio.

Having trouble

Ok Im having trouble with my 1.1.3 FW... Everytime I record a video it will start buffering then it goes back to my main icons. I opened Video recorder again and I see the video I recorded and tried playing it but says "The movie could not be played". What am I doing wrong?

video recorder also encodes the videos so they aren't super huge. i don't believe showtime does that (or at least it didn't the last time i tried it).

so i tried using the video recorder this weekend at a concert and the video quality is very good, better than i expected but the audio was crap couldnt hear anything clear.....what do u guys have ur audio settings set to???
