those anyone out there know if there is a app being made that video recording for the iphone there was one for jailbroken phones so we do know it works with digital focusing,archiving,and that it sync's to your pc/mac to have family videos in the program if so maybe one day someone can come up with a forward facing cam attachment to add to the bottom port to do video conferencing.

It's not actually possible without jailbreak as apple don't give you access to the APIs that would let you control the camera.
Guess apple is not as a advanced as it claims...
The down fall of the iphone within the next few months. Already we see phones with the touch screen interface plus they have paste and copy, mp3 players, web browsing, movie players, flash for a better web experience. 3g sorry that's been out for awhile just not in the u.s they sync with your system for down loading for your important files good for business professional. the oldest phones out have video recording ,mms, mp3 ,web browsing using flash, games cameras with higher res come on apple give us something before the iphone goes the way of the first ipod it'll become irrelevant in 6 months no one will care.

i'm i the only person ticked about the adding apps to the phone process.
Why is it that everytime i add a new app it takes all but half a day to sync my phone and yes i have a new computer and broadband. Shouldn't it just ask me if i wanna add the new app then it going over the whole process of the iphone to add it in.

These devlopers claim to be submitting this application to the store, which would do what everyone wants, and more. 
Video recording is accessible through the SDK - whether Apple let applications that include it onto the store in light of future firmware upgrades, is another story.
