Hi, on my newly acquired iPhone 13 Pro (iOS 17.6.1) the video recording is set to auto fps, since I think it is a good idea. But now I see, that when the iPhone switches from 60fps to 30fps it also opens up the aspect ratio from 1980x1020 to 1980x1440 AND it switches stereo to mono sound. Is there a way to change that behavior without switching off auto fps? Thanks in advance.

Ok, through much experimenting I found the reason, perhaps it is for others of interest, too.

When I acquainted myself with the the new iPhone I found out that one can record video also by pressing the photo button longer, and I had used this from time to time. What I did not know was, that this mode of video recording obviously changes the format to 1980x1440 (the aspect ration of the photos) and also to mono sound; unfortunately this is not announced anywhere. So that explains my findings.
