I love the clean menacing black look of the Nexus 6 and the dual front facing speakers. But when he showed the screens side by side I could already tell that the Nexus 6 has washed up colors under sunlight. For me the display is very important because it's the primary thing you interact with in a smartphone. When I compare my Note 3 to the iPhone 6 plus I could tell right off the bat that iPhone had the better screen. And the Note 4 has a better screen than the iPhone 6 plus.
That 10 second outdoor screen comparision made me stick to getting the Note 4 as a daily driver.
They both have AMOLED but I have no doubt Samsung keeps the better screens for themselves. Also we have no idea of brightness settings, and this was a pre release Nexus 6.
Look at the video at the 40 second mark soon after he pulls down the notification shade. Both are running 100% brightness. Sad part is that the Note 4 is capable of going even brighter if Auto is selected.

The exponential size increase since 2013 moto x - to 2014 and Nexus 6 is quite shocking. It's also disappointing that a sway of users are being left behind by this forced push to phablets.
