i've had my 20" iMac a grand total of 3 days (first time mac owner) and decided i wanted to play games so i downloaded Boot Camp, installed Windows XP and was off to the races. I haven't updated XP yet but when on gamespot to look at some video of some games i would download and the videos are all coming in a strange color... almost inverted but not quite. just alot of neons i guess. anyway, those same movies worked fine on OS X (i haven't been back to see if it's just XP or maybe it's both now). anyway, i thought maybe it was a codec problem so i downloaded the newest K-lite mega codec pack but there's no change. anyone able to help? maybe it's my X1600 video card? i don't really know.

thanks in advance.

See if this fixes it. I had this problem on my ATI X800XT card on my PC. I thnk its a driver issue.

Go into media player, then tools, then options. Click on the performance tab and then on advanced closer to the bottom. Now uncheck where it says "user video mixing renderer" in the Video Acceleration section and then say OK.

Launch the video again and it should work.
