Tell me why the 3GS needs this app. How is it better then the native app?

What's the quality of the 3G video (resolution and frames per second)? If this works and is approved by Apple, it'll be a huge hit with 3G owners. What about the 2G? If it works on the 3G, I assume it would work on the 2G also.

I don't see this being approved. Apple wants people to buy the 3GS for the video.
