Hi,

I have finally removed my 15-20 year old "block" for doing programming at all, and I want to start programming iPhone apps with more ahead now.

I have some clear visions for new apps, but I haven´t coded a line of C++ before.

I will be purchasing these books which I find in the forums guide; http://www.amazon.com/Cocoa-Programming-Mac-OS-3rd/dp/0321503619/ and http://www.amazon.com/Programming-Language-Prentice-Hall-Software/dp/0131103628, but I would like to know if there excist great videos also that can help out...

Anyone got any great tips here...? Feel free to update this thread with all your best video tips.

I will be Googling the web in the time ahead now and keep updating this thread if I find any myself...

The Stanford iPhone programming course is available via iTunes. There are others I'm sure, even on YouTube.

Look at the top of the thread listings and you'll see two helpful guides.

iPhone programming is C and Objective-C based. No need for C++.

Its been a while since I've logged in to my account but I believe lynda.com has some xcode/objective-c training vids. My memory could be failing me this close to quitting time for the day though.

yea just look around on iTunesU. They have a bunch of Intro to iPhone programming videos.
