Videos/Movies crashing/quitting on 3.0, 3Gs

Whenever I try to pause or fast forward, scrub a movie it crashes or quits out of the ipod app. Also if I exit out of the ap in the middle of the movie, when I come back in it doesn't pick up where I left off. Anyone else have this happening? Any ideas how to fix it? Music works fine.

Hmmm... I'm not having the crashing problem you described. I rip my own movies but I did buy a TV show from iTunes. There is a setting to start videos at the beginning each time but I never had much luck with that.

Probably the first generic piece of advise is to reboot the phone and see what happens. Have modded the phone and are these your own ripped movies?

thanks for responding. i just tried deleting all the movies and resyncing them and now it seems to be working fine. hopefully it was just a one off, odd occurrence.
