I thought the new firmware would allow documents to be viewed on the iPhone??

Am I wrong?

You could always view PDF docs (word, and excel files too, I think). Not sure about iWork documents

Oh, really?? Could you explain how? For example, I have a PDF on my Mac - how can I get it onto my iPhone to view later? Thanks.

Email it to yourself, or host it on a web server. That should work with different filetypes: you can't sync these files onto your iPhone, though (or at least I don't think you can. I might be wrong) PM me if you need detailed help, I'll be happy walk you through it.

hi.. i'm still debating if i should get an iphone.. i currently own the xv6800.. and i really love having excel & word. i know you can only view excel & word docs, if you email it to yourself but can u save them on your phone? Or do u have to always go to your email to view them?

i also like to use my phone as a diary/journal, is there an app on the iphone where i can jot down my thoughts? :)
