Noticing MKBHD uploading recent videos in 2:1 aspect ratio, which are more iPhone X-friendly in that they fill more of the screen in "Original" mode (so not "Zoomed to fill" mode).

But I notice the corners slightly taper off & prevent a clean, rectangular frame...it's small & not enough to turn me off 2:1 content, but it does make things look slightly cheap imo...on a phone that costs this much, video content (if not Zoomed to fill) should be a nice rectangular frame, should it not?

Is the reason for this simply that the iPhone X (& XS) resolution isn't quite a 2:1 ratio?

An example of the sliced corners is on the shot on the right below...(ignore the slight notch encroachment - that doesn't happen. Just referring to the corners)...
