viewing external drive formatted in Windows on my OSX partition?? hellppp please

So I have an external hard drive that is currently formatted to Windows format but I have a couple files on there I need to transfer over to my OS X partition before I can reformat it to the Macintosh format.

Is there a program that will allows me to view/transfer from my Windows formatted drive over to my OSX parition?

OSX can read/write FAT32 and read NTFS. Do you need special drivers for the drive on Windows?
