Is there a way to go to a certain page in a PDF file rather than having to flick all the way through the file to that page? For instance if my PDF is 900 pages, how can I simply go to page 350?

Thanks.

My thoughts exactly

I noticed somewhere else online that another chap had problems understanding how to put the files in PDFViewer add on to the iPhone by placing the pdf files in the usr/var/PDF, in order for us to read pdf that are too large for the Safari browser (which I love - the iPhone gave the internet a feel, and grab of 4000 years of knowledge and information - and zoom in to any part of the internet gives importance whether @ font 8 or 20).

God Bless Steve Jobs.

I know this may sound weird, but I prefer (sometimes) reading on my iPhone; Rather than my 20' iMac (more for coding and research). The iPhone is just so easily replaceable of books.

PDF on the iPhone is a minimum Adobe and Apple can agree on carrying a nice formated document.

PDF Viewer, iPhone, PDF

I know it's the wrong place to put keywords to refer to this post by never knowing when someone put the keywords for reading pdf files on the iPhone.

I tried putting a large file (through web site). It loaded reasonably well, but same problem - can't get to the page(s) I want quickly. Maybe something like the contact alpha list, except page numbers, would be nice.

Something to look forward to in some future update.....

FilesLite application...

I've been using an application to read my pdfs. There is a lite free version available on the app. store called "FilesLite". With it you can connect to your iphone/touch wirelessly and drag and drop the files. Then open them in the application on your phone/ipod...

The program is amazing, allows landscape view, page turning, etc. And on the full version (currently 6.99) you can jump to specific pages and add bookmarks, etc. But there seems to be an apple dictated issue with larger pdf files...it crashes with my 25mb files!!! Which truly sucks!!
