iPod viewing songs on ipod

Hello. on my ipod, when i try viewing all my songs by a single artiest, i get only the songs that have an album name, and dont get the ones that i havent written an album name for them..
everything was fine until a couple of days ago.... i dont know what i did please help

Hi.

To better your chances at getting help, you should probably provide the iPod model you're having this problem with.

Especially now that there is an entirely new interface for the classic (from the 5G), then there's the touch....iPhone....

I *think* I understand your problem. I only have a 5G at them moment, but what I've done is put "[unreleased]" or "[unknown]" or "[rarities, singles & b-sides]" or some other written description in the "Album " field in iTunes.

This way, they all group together on the iPod.
